The first step in the recruitment process is attending an Information & Practice Day. Although not compulsory, it is highly recommended if you are seriously considering becoming a Career Firefighter. The day will cover:
- What a modern firefighter does
- A breakdown of the recruitment process
- What the recruit’s course entails
- Equipment used
- Opportunity to practice the Physical Pre-entry Test (PPT)
This round of Information and Practice Day is complete.
We typically run Information and Practice Days prior to application rounds, to ensure you have plenty of time to prepare for our testing requirements.
We have completed our first round for 2023 Information and Practice Days – check back in for our second round in December.
